March 14, 2003, Clearwater, FL — Groupe AGI of Quebec, Canada, leaders of the time and billing software market in Canada, is pleased to announce the opening of their U.S. headquarters, based in Clearwater, Florida and the launch of the Abak line of products in the U.S. marketplace. Abak, their flagship product, promises to bring effortless time tracking, invoicing and reporting capabilities as well as its acclaimed customer service, to the U.S. market.

"It's incredible that Abak, initially developed for our company's internal usage, has received so much attention and so many accolades," said Marie-Claude Perras, Marketing Communication Director. "Abak is poised to be a major force in the United States, and we will be expanding our Florida office to meet up with demand."

Abak, designed for companies of all sizes, is a time and billing and project management system specifically designed to prevent under-billing and lost time. Its management reporting capabilities allow detailed analyses of productivity and workflow, for better control of clients, sub-contractors, vendors and resources. With its Microsoft Outlook look and feel, Abak is a workhorse for resource planning, budget management, project management, time and expense management, report generation, and work-in-progress analysis. Its already-powerful reporting features are further enhanced with its ability to integrate with Crystal Reports.

Accurate invoicing is a snap and the program helps prevent double-billing. It also works seamlessly with popular business programs such as QuickBooks, MS Project, AccPac, and others.

"One of the ways we will work to quickly increase the number of installations in the U.S. will be through the launch of a reseller program," said Paul Cibas, Head of U.S. Operations. "We will be announcing our reseller program parameters in the near future."

Abak comes in two different editions to meet the needs of any size business from solo to the largest corporation. Abak professional starts at $300 and Abak Enterprise version begins at $540. Abak is available directly from the company.
